The Skylands server was an experimental world involving custom terrain generation & ore distribution, a unique concept on the TNTable experience that proved polarizing and limiting in practice. Because of this, it stands as one of the least developed servers in TNTable history.
To help with the difficult terrain navigation, the server was pre-loaded to develop a spawn area, and all players were gifted elytra and rockets to begin, along with a command-block based launcher to get you high up for your flight.
This server featured many sky islands floating above water. It had a ship constructed by MatrVincent built a really nice floating shit, and David had a half-completed warehouse.
The server did not last very long and was difficult to work with. We have never done sky islands again.
