Details

The Waterfront Mansion was David's second home on the First Amplified SMP server. It was built when David wanted more space to expand farms, and needed more than the limited space on top of the spire in his old base: Cliff-Top Lookout.

This base featured a fountain that would shoot snowballs when players were nearby, a tree farm, a waterfront porch/dock and more. The mansion's roof was the last piece to be completed, though it never got finished.

Features

First Floor

There was not much in the first floor, just some staircases up and down, an ender chest, and an enchanting setup. There was a porch/deck out the back of the house overlooking the water.

Basement

The basement was more developed. There was a storage and brewing area, automatic farms for wheat, potatoes, and carrots, and an area deep underground under the ocean for a snow golem to live so snowballs could be harvested to refill the fountain.

Upper Level

There wasn't much on the upper level, just a few bedrooms and a loft area to give the entrance a double-height roof. The principle suite had a giant window facing the ocean.

Surrounding Area

Just outside the front entrance was a fountain that shot snowballs out the top. There was an attempt to make this work with a mob and player presence detection. Not sure how that went, though I believe it was switched to a hopper clock eventually.

There was also a tree farm in the process of being built, but also in use while the rest was built. It was created since the terrain was uneven and made harvesting wood and saplings difficult.
