Gimothy
Summary
Gimothy (2021-2022) was the all-sovereign ruler of the Lush Ravine, which He laid claim to while trying to escape a future of permanent enclosure. His owner was Matt, although this fact has been debated by experts, who wonder if the opposite was instead true.
Background
During the construction of the Lush Ravine, Matt began to move animals from above ground into the base intending to domesticate and force reproduction. Him who would be known as Gimothy was the first animal selected for this project, however it did not proceed as planned, as He soon began to rebel for His beliefs, and eventually fled through the entire base into a small pocket of the ravine which would come to be known as His holy chambers. Having a change of heart, Matt spared the chicken, bestowing upon Him a name tag offering to officially christen the name Gimothy upon Him.
Gimothy's name originated from David, when asked about a name for who was known at the time as just an escapee chicken. It wasn't until later in his residency in the Lush Ravine that his true powers became apparent, however Gimothy was always humble and rarely made them known.
Death & Legacy
In the early morning hours of September 13th, 2022 at 1:25 AM, the holy chambers of Gimothy were invaded by an evangelical zealot fox, who ruthlessly killed Gimothy and His offspring in cold blood. Matt was preoccupied with escaped villagers roaming the base to realize until the damage had been long done. The perpetrator never left the scene, and was later found with Gimothy's feather still in their mouth.
Gimothy's death marked the end of his existence on our mortal plain. Upon death he forgave the villagers that needed it and blessed the village. It was mere minutes after Gimothy's death that a villager offered a Mending trade. It is theorized that Gimothy performed this act on his death to leave a legacy showcasing his true powers.
The villager was later appointed as a disciple to Gimothy, and named J. Jonah Jimothy in His honor.
