Info
The iron farm produces iron blocks, poppies, and bone meal. The iron ingots are turned into blocks by a crafter, newly added in 1.21. Poppies are collected and once both chests are full, all overflow gets run through a composter and turned into bonemeal. The unfortunate side-effect is that no bonemeal is produced while the poppy chests still have space.
Production Statistics
For the nerds out there, this farm has 60 double chests for storing iron blocks. That gives us 54 stacks of iron blocks per chest, for a total of 3,240 stacks of iron blocks. This equates to 207,360 blocks total, not including the hoppers which will hold some as the chests fill up. The hoppers hold an additional 330 stacks when full, giving us a whopping grand total of 228,480 blocks of iron at maximum capacity. Meaning that there can be 2,056,320 ingots of iron stored here.
Now, if the farm operates at optimal efficiency and spawns a golem every 30 seconds, and each golem drops an average of 4 ingots, that means it will take 178.5 real life days of this farm working to fill up that storage, or 12,852 Minecraft days without sleeping.
So, lets assume as stated before that each block is 1 metre by 1 metre, a block of iron weights about 7,873kg. That means that this farm can hold 1,798,823,040kg. That would be just about 0.4% of the estimated supply of iron ore on earth.
