The Bunker
The Bunker was an excavation site and build project created by Matt on the Castles & Casinos & Villages server, located outside his Dark Oak village.
Background
The Bunker was constructed for two purposes, as a joint excavation project for stone mining and a 'shelter' for survivors of a theoretical fallout with the intent to outfit with automated farms as well as research rooms for foreign & interdimensional substances. The excavation project was completed in its entirety, with the bunker being dug all the way down to bedrock. However, the shelter build project was never fully realized, only coming to house an automated cactus farm, as well as research facilities for cocoa beans and chorus fruit.
As a Christmas present for the Christmas 2019 celebration, the Bunker became repurposed into a sanctuary for pandas.
Trivia
- The project was the primary contributor towards Matt achieving the 'Mountain Mover' (50k stone) and 'Earth Excavator' (75k stone) custom advancements.
