This dock was under construction on the Dock & New Halifax server for quite some time. The surface was a bit lacklustre but it was below that really shaped up into a base. It is situated roughly 700 blocks north of spawn.
There was a mall in progress being built, the dock itself was in progress and ever expanding. It takes a long time to harvest wood on water, on top of all the other construction happening below ground. The dock even includes a look-out dome. This was the time before oceans had anything interesting too so it was purely just because.
Features
Below are some photos of the various areas and rooms in this base. Broken up by above sea-level and below.
Transportation to and from the dock was done via boat. The trees at spawn were quickly decimated to make enough wood for boats every time I died and before I got a bed there.
