The TNTable SMP server has custom recipes in various forms to make obtaining certain items easier, both through the TNTable datapack, as well as Vanilla Tweaks. All of these should also be in the in-game crafting book.

Redstone & Terracotta Rotation Wrench

To find this in the crafting book, search for Knowledge Book and craft that. Once it is crafted open it and it will turn into a Carrot on a Stick and be called Wrench. It can now rotate redstone components and terracotta. Redstone can be rotated by clicking above the component but still within the same "block".
