Summary
#REDIRECT Shaynevasion (Event)
The Shanevasion occurred on the Shanevasion server, hence the namesake. Shane, a previous member of the server began duplicating items and amassing items and therefore power and began to take over bases and areas. David was challenged to a fight for ownership over the server and narrowly lost. Unfortunately for Shane David still owns the server and Shane was promptly banned and his base blown up.

After Shane was banned from the server his village was blown up by David with special fire charges with additional blast radius. It was then that the full extent of the duplication exploitation was made obvious. Shane had a room underwater built exclusively with diamond blocks.

Shane was accumulating diamonds and items at an alarming rate, and at first I did not think that Shane was using a duplication glitch. It wasn't until the fateful day of the Shanevasion that I faced the fact that I was wrong. The first thing I noticed was when my chicken farm at Redstone World was blown up. I did not immediately know it was Shane but that became obvious in the hour after.

We began to mount a force to counter Shane and his reign of terror. It was unsuccessful and I was challenged to a duel. I prepared and hoped that potions would give me the advantage and I could handily defeat him. I lost and in the end Shane had to be banned to maintain peace and order on the server. Dropping a large bomb on Shane's base was a pleasant experience for me.
